Sustainable Rice Production in Vietnam

In Vietnam’s Dong Thap Province, rice farmer Nguyen Thi My Trang tells her own story and describes how access to further training and pest management courses has helped improve her crop yield and in turn the lives of her family.

Vietnam is the world’s fifth-largest rice-producing country where rice is still a staple diet for the majority of the population. CropLife Asia‘s mission is to help farmers grow sufficient amounts of food for a growing population through access to innovative technologies. They help ensure that crop protection products such as pesticides are utilized responsibly and handled in the safest and most effective way to help farmers improve agricultural productivity and contribute to food security.
