With the release of its 2016 Sustainability Report, HP demonstrates continued progress in reducing the company’s total carbon and water footprints, and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions in its operations, supply chain, and product portfolio.
Some of the highlights of the report includes:
– HP is committed to source 40% of renewable electricity across its global operations by 2020.
– The company has already seen a 21% decrease in its supply chain emission levels compared to 2010.
– HP has recycled more than 102,800 tonnes of hardware and 17,100 tonnes of ink and toner cartridges in 2016 alone.
