The 4th Responsible Business Forum on Food & Agriculture convened over 450 decision makers from business, government, investors, the development community and farmers to establish innovative and collaborative approaches to achieving food and nutrition security in Asia.

Delegates produced actionable recommendations for increasing productivity across seven key agricultural commodities in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on agricultural sustainability, product innovation for food safety and nutrition, and collaboration along the entire food chain.

Time for action: RBF Jakarta 2017 Outcome Statements and Recommendations

The 4th Responsible Business Forum on Food and Agriculture in Jakarta brought together over 550 stakeholders from government, business leaders across the food and agriculture sector and international agencies and NGOs to discuss actionable recommendations on securing Asia’s food and nutrition future.

The Forum showed the progress made towards improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers, adoption of sustainable production practices, and the supply of sustainably produced commodities in Asia. It fostered open discussions on holistic and inclusive solutions to the greatest challenges that persist for Asia’s agriculture, and reinforced the need to explore innovative solutions through partnerships.
