Cynthia has over 15 years of experience in strategic litigation, policy, advocacy and research in thematic areas related to sustainable development. At Forum, Cynthia manages a pre-competitive collaboration to identify and scale solutions for labour rights challenges in the palm oil sector. She is also involved in developing partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region to scale Forum’s Protein Challenge 2040 – a project dedicated to creating a pioneering global initiative which will incubate and scale sustainable protein solutions. Prior to this, Cynthia conducted a study for UNICEF assessing the palm oil sector’s impacts on children, helped develop guidelines relating to sustainable large-scale land acquisitions, and defended indigenous land rights in Africa.
