Country Director, Indonesia The Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH)

Mr Fitrian Ardiansyah is Indonesia Country Director at IDH – The Sustainable Trade Initiative. He is also a board member of Partnership for Indonesia’s Sustainable Agriculture (PISAgro), a regional committee member for Tropical Forest Alliance/World Economic Forum (TFA/WEF) in Southeast Asia, and a council member of SAWIT Challenge. Previously, he was Program Director for Climate and Energy, WWF-Indonesia. He was one of the experts and a member of the official Indonesian delegation to the UNFCCC, and a board member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). He conducted his doctoral research at the Australian National University (ANU), where he also obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Development. His bachelor degree was obtained at the Institute of Technology, Bandung.
