AISHA ABUBAKAR

State Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment

Nigeria

State Minister Aisha Abubakar is an accomplished public sector and public administration technocrat with approximately three decades of professional experience, covering Public Service Administration, Pension Administration, SME Development, Micro-credit Administration, Humna Resource Management and Banking.

Prior to her appointment as State Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, she served as the Director for Corporate Services for the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) and a Director for the Customs and Immigrations Department. She also served in several government agencies and organiations.

She holds a Masters in Development Studies from the University of Leeds and a Bachelors (Honours) in Politics with International Studies from the University of Warwick
