As the Senior Regional Thematic Specialist for Labour Migration/ Migration and Development with IOM’s Regional Office for Southern Africa in Pretoria, South Africa; Jason acts as the primary advisor and thematic resource person in the Southern Africa region for a variety of partners inclusive of IOM Country Offices, UN Agencies, NGOs, Civil Society, Member States and Regional Economic Communities such as SADC, COMESA and the IOC. Jason holds a Masters of Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in the United States, and an Honors Degree in Anthropology from McMaster University in Canada.
