The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were created to transform the world, but for the goals to be reached, governments, the private sector and civil society need to work together. With the launch of the SDGs, we now have an unprecedented opportunity to accelerate inclusive growth in Africa to deliver the goals and bring countries, businesses and people together to embark on a new path towards a more sustainable and better planet for us all.
The Responsible Business Forum (RBF) on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, 31 August – 01 September 2017, will examine each of the 17 SDGs in depth with case studies and perspectives from businesses, governments, UN agencies and NGOs, investors and international experts. Building on the SDG agenda at RBF 2016, the Africa forum will guide companies to concretely contribute to achieving the goals through inclusive growth.
With 17 SDG workshops to choose from, delegates can design their own RBF 2017 agenda around the goals most relevant to their organisations and participate in discussions around action, inclusive growth and collaboration.
