Senior figures from agribusiness, governments and international organisations attending the Responsible Business Forum on Food and Agriculture have committed to work together to promote innovation in food and agriculture. Delegates at the event discussed emerging technologies—from blockchain to biotech and big data—and business models that could improve smallholder productivity, access to quality food and traceability and transparency in supply chains.

Malcolm Preston, adjunct professor at the Kellogg School of Management said: “Trust and partnerships are essential. We need to trust the new technologies and trust in each other to create great partnerships”.
