Regular access to water is a privilege in Africa

Millions of families in Africa do not have regular access to water. In rural Sub-Saharan Africa, people share their domestic water sources with animals or rely on unprotected wells that are breeding grounds for pathogens. Mostly women and girls must aso travel long distances to retrieve water from community wells.
