Donny Eryastha is Head of Public Policy at TikTok, driving government relations and policy initiatives for Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. With over 12 years of experience specialising in public policy, government relations, research, consulting, and private sector development, Donny most recently led Public Policy for Facebook in Indonesia, where he was at the forefront of driving policy and regulatory programs, tackling issues such as digital literacy, data localization, counter-terrorism and more. Prior to Facebook, Donny has also served as a strategic policy and economics adviser in leading organizations such as The World Bank, ERIA (Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia) and AUSAID (Australian Government Overseas Aid Program), among others. Donny holds a Masters of Public Administration in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
