Wayne leads the Plug & Play team in Singapore and oversees Plug & Play’s investments in the region. He has been active in the local technology and startup ecosystem for more than 10 years, working with government agencies, corporations, universities and community groups to help promote the adoption of the latest technology and to boost the chances of success of the startups that he works with. Wayne graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Computing, having a major in Computer Science and a minor in Technopreneurship. He was on the NUS Overseas College Silicon Valley program from Jul 2008 to Jul 2009 and worked full-time as a web developer in mobile startup Qik while taking entrepreneurship classes from Stanford University. Most recently, Wayne was the co-founder and CEO of ProperHands, a platform to matchmake homeowners and office managers with cleaners.
