Coffee is the largest agricultural export product in value after rice in Vietnam. However, production has not kept up with the growing global demand, as it has suffered from under-investment, poor production practices and adverse climatic conditions. While the coffee industry works to move farmers from subsistence to business, the focus shall remain on profit and sustainability, hand in hand with a protected environment.
