Globally, 780 million people lack access to safe drinking water and 2.5 billion lack improved sanitation. The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation has committed resources and is collaborating with other organizations to provide communities with improved access to safe drinking water and sanitation through the Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN). Coca-Cola has extended it’s investment to US$65 million in safe water access programs benefitting 6 million people by 2020.
