Quest for sustainable seafood starts with aquaculture

Almost half of the seafood we eat comes from farms. For fish farming (aquaculture) to hold its promise to meet our future food demands, it will need to demonstrate that it can produce sustainably farmed seafood. Through a partnership, Marina Bay Sands and WWF help aquaculture farms to produce seafood more responsibly by improving their supply chain and daily management. The move has the potential to benefit marine ecosystems and local communities and raise overall standards within Asia’s hospitality industry.
